Perhaps one of the greatest characters ever to grace the NFT realm has made a triumphant return to the forefront of Blockchain technology. As a result, the indomitable ‘Kevin’ once again takes center stage with a utility laden $2 NFT backed by bags of holder benefits.
Kevin’s latest surprise appearance comes as part of the Onchain Summer event to promote Coinbase’s new Base network. Through the initiative, fans of the pixelated icon can purchase a beach-bound Kevin dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and supping on a coconut for just $2 worth of ETH. Ownership of the NFT will then act as a gateway for a number of Kevin themed experiences.
The most interesting item on offer comes in the shape of a Kevin Lego-style toy that will allow fans to build their own pixelated hero in real life. Meanwhile, other planned benefits include a raffle for an unhatched Pixelmon egg, access to Pixelmon in-person events, and perks in an upcoming Pixelmon mini game.
Fans of the weirdly amiable green mascot have until the end of August to make their latest Kevin acquisition, before the opportunity is lost forever!

Amid all of the chaos, anger and despair, the misshapen monster managed to win the hearts of the meme community with its innocent demeanor and puzzled looking features.
