The world of the non-fungible has blurred the lines between virtual and reality once again. Toy creator for the ages, Mattel, partnered up with team Vaynerchuk to create a deck of fully playable VeeFriends UNO cards.
This highly collectible version of the classic card game features 17 eye-catching designs drawing from the VeeFriends universe. Including classic characters such as Charming Cheetah, Resourceful Robin, and of course, the rarest card of them all, Gary Bee. In addition to the cartoon adorned playing cards, each pack includes a single ornamental “foil” card for purebred collectors to admire.
The Uno x VeeFriends decks launched via “Mattel Creations” on December 17, for $25 a pack. And subsequently, sold out immediately. Any hope of acquiring a deck now lies in the secondary market, or, for the lucky ones, under the Christmas tree.

Each deck is a genuine certified “ultra-rare” physical edition of the game. And is consequently undergoing accreditation with the “Professional Sports Authenticator,” the worlds biggest authority on rare collectibles. As a result of the new addition to the VeeFriends universe, a new UNO rule was introduced. Specifically tailored to feed the social media monster. Therefore, anyone drawing the “wild squirrel sharing card,” “must” take a selfie with the deck and share it online.
