Below are three steps outlining how to buy music NFTs:

1. Buy crypto

The first step is creating a crypto account if you don’t have one already. You can create an account on a trusted crypto exchange platform such as Coinbase, Crypto.com, FTX, Kraken, or Binance. 

Once you have created your account, follow the steps on the platform to purchase the crypto you’ll use. For example, if you are buying an NFT on the Ethereum blockchain, you will purchase ETH. 

2. Set up a crypto wallet

Next, you will have to download a crypto wallet extension to your browser. For example, if you’re using the Ethereum blockchain, MetaMask is the most popular choice. If you’re using the Tezos blockchain, you can download Kukai. 

Once you have downloaded the appropriate wallet, you can transfer the crypto you bought from the crypto exchange platform (ex: Coinbase), to your wallet (ex: MetaMask). You can follow the steps here on how to transfer money from your crypto account to your wallet. It is simple, don’t worry!

3. Connect to an NFT marketplace

Once you have filled up that crypto wallet, simply log in to the NFT platform with your wallet, and voila! You’re ready to buy your first NFT! 

Some NFT marketplaces offer payment with a credit or debit card, but that is often not the case, so it’s better to have a crypto wallet set up.
