Available now on MakersPlace, the ‘Shadows’ collection includes four unique digital photographs of Joel Zimmerman captured by Timothy White. The incredible imagery showcases the various layers of Joel Zimmerman’s persona, revealing the duality of his life as a composer, producer, record executive, and web3 entrepreneur, with that of his life as highly acclaimed superstar, deadmau5.
The NFT collection is composed of 4 striking photographs that the show the musician in an intimate new light. The first, ‘Alter Ego’ is an ultra-rare 1 of 1 digital collectible with a museum-quality co-signed photograph depicting Joel’s duality as he sits in the shadow of his creation. The second, ‘Chairman of the Board’ comes in as an auction for one of five editions of a co-signed museum-quality photograph representing Joel’s creative empire. Thirdly, ‘Me and My Shadow’ offers a limited run of 10 intimate portraits of Joel and his deadmau5 shadow. While the final item, ‘dormau5,’ features an open edition mint that represents the seperation between Joel Zimmerman and his deadmau5 character.
In addition to the digital collectibles, the initial buyer of ‘Alter Ego’ will also receive a museum-quality 30″ x 40″ phygital print co-signed by both artists. While the sale of the fifth piece in the ‘Chairman of the Board’ collection will trigger an additional auction for a 20″ x 24″ phygital photographic print co-signed by both artists.
