Next generation vaulting service, Americana, has now opened its considerable doors to the general public. Going forwards, anyone can safely store their physical valuables, which it will then secure via NFTs and the blockchain.
For well over 100 years, financial institutions have offered investors secure vaults in which to store their most cherished belongings. Effectively, this means locking them away in high-security facilities that are only accessible through stringent identification protocols. The problem with this model however, is that these valuables remain inaccessible to most, and even out of view to their rightful owners.
To solve this problem, Americana has leveraged blockchain and NFT technology to drag secure vaulting well and truly into the digital age. As a result, users can store their treasured items in a high security, climate-controlled environment just as before. However, the company will then make a high-res digital duplicate of the item that the owner can exhibit and share, partnered with an NFT title hosted on the Ethereum network, with they can trade on supported NFT marketplaces.

Americana Blazes a Trail Through the Secure Vaulting Industry
Launched in 2022, Americana has spent the last year perfecting its product by storing a range of specially curated valuable items. Through its facility, it has the capacity to store a wide range of objects that can vary in size from a small postage stamp, up to a large capacity vehicle. Each item, recorded and authenticated using blockchain technology, and represented by a non-fungible token.
So far, the project has safely stored numerous artefacts, such as motorcycles, rare Pokémon cards, Rolex watches, valuable art, and even a sealed original iPhone 5c in blue! On receipt of each item, the project will authenticate, document and value it, while also employing a giant 3D Photogrammetry machine to create a glorious high resolution digital likeness of the object.
As a result of its incredible innovation, owners can now safely store their most coveted items, while retaining the capacity to peruse and showcase them at their leisure.
