A Voxels avatar is a customizable character which will represent you inside the virtual world. Essentially, owning an avatar is like registering a username/account on any given website. You do not need to own a registered avatar to visit Voxels, you can login as a guest by just clicking a link to start exploring.

• You can jazz up your character with Voxels wearables, available to buy on the OpenSea marketplace.
• Each avatar comes as the standard white mannequin style, so essentially you are registering a username, which will then be attached to an avatar.
• Usernames are case sensitive.

To register an avatar, you must have Metamask installed (see Getting Started) and be logged in to the Voxels website.

From there, select ‘Name’ from the menu, input your name and confirm the transaction using a small amount of Ethereum.
