Best NFT Marketplace Alternatives to OpenSea

In this article we look at the best NFT marketplace alternatives to the most popular ones such as OpenSea and Rarible. The NFT marketplaces below are not on the Ethereum blockchain, so even though they’re not as developed, they offer much lower gas fees and can be a good starting point for those looking to buy their first NFT for a cheaper price.

Below we cover the best NFT marketplaces on Solana, Binance, and Tezos.

Best NFT Marketplaces on Solana

Solanart

Solanart is currently the best NFT marketplace on Solana, hosting major NFT projects such as Degen Ape Academy and Sol Punks. The platform is currently in beta, so you cannot directly mint on it. Instead, creators fill out a Google form obtained via their Discord server, and once the NFTs are listed for sale, they are stored on a ‘Temporary Account’ owned by the marketplace program. When someone buys your NFT, the program transfers the SOL amount from the buyer to the seller and unlocks the NFT, which is then sent to the buyer.
